The device named by patients as ultrasonic rhinoplasty is the piezo device, and we routinely use this device in our surgeries.
Since older technical bone interventions are still more suitable in some patients, it may sometimes be necessary to use older technical equipment even if the piezo device is ready.
💡 Piezo is not a miraculous tool that perfects every nose it touches. It is a highly useful tool we use during part of the surgery, which significantly affects having less bruising/edema post-surgery.
By the way, piezo is not a piece of equipment used by very few doctors; it is a beneficial device used by many surgeons performing rhinoplasty today.
